to help us raise over $100,000. Many people marvel at how a not for profit organization is able to bring together so many people who show their support to our organization so early in the morning and raise so much money in such a short period of time. One of our faithful donors who acts as a table captain and invites nine of his colleagues every year often remarks, "I ask people to come to this event which starts at 7:00 in the morning. I tell them it’s a light breakfast of coffee and muffins, after all the food bank is there to feed people who really need their help, and then I ask them for their money – which of course is donated to a great cause." This donor and his guests have raised thousands of dollars for us over the past ten years and we are truly grateful for the gifts our whole community offers every year.
